Import-player rule

A fantasy squad may contain a maximum of 3 import players. Players officially marked as imports are labelled throughout the player pool and squad picker.

Import status is set by the administrator from official roster information. Rink Draft does not guess status from a player's name or nationality.

When do you own the points?

Your player must be in your submitted fantasy squad at the fixture's face-off time. Squad history means a later transfer cannot rewrite points from a game already played.

Player prices & budget

Every manager has a £250k budget for a 12-player squad. Player values normally run from £10k to £50k in simple £5k steps.

Prices are suggested from previous-season NIHL National regular-season performance, ranked by position. Imports carry a controlled price premium. New players without previous National stats use starter values until they build a history.

How player values are calculated

Price changes

Rink Draft prices are set by the administrator and are not designed to jump around after every match. Manual prices can be locked so an automatic recalculation does not overwrite them.

NIHL-specific scoring notes

A skater gets the hat-trick bonus once if they score three or more goals in the fixture. A goalie can receive only one save-percentage band bonus per fixture.

Goals, assists, PPG, SHG, PIM, wins, saves, goals against, shutouts and save percentage are imported from match statistics.
